Iceland: A Beer Story is a guided journey through the strange, surprising and occasionally absurd history of beer in Iceland, told inside a working Reykjavík brewery.

From prohibition and the 74-year beer ban to the return of beer in 1989 and the rise of Iceland's modern brewing culture, this is a story about much more than what is in the glass.

The experience is hosted by Höskuldur Sæmundsson ; actor, beer expert, storyteller and former co-host of Bruggvarpið, Iceland's beer and brewing podcast.

Höskuldur knows Icelandic beer history, brewing and beer styles inside out. As a trained actor and natural storyteller, he brings the story to life with humour, knowledge and a very considerable voice.

During the experience, you'll taste selected beers from RVK Brewing Co. while exploring ingredients, brewing methods and the evolution of different beer styles.

You'll also step inside the original RVK brewery and get a closer look at how beer is made, from grain and hops to fermentation and the finished glass.

You don't need to know anything about beer.
